Introduction

I began my journey at IIT Delhi in March 2025 as a Software Developer Intern, marking a pivotal step in my professional and personal growth. Working within such an innovation-driven and research-oriented environment gave me the opportunity to translate ideas into impactful digital solutions.

During my internship, I was entrusted with the development of the Central Manufacturing Facility (CMF) Management System, a comprehensive platform designed to digitize training and facility bookings. This project replaced outdated manual workflows with an automated, user-friendly system that streamlined operations and improved accessibility.

I also contributed to the Lab Autonomy System, an IoT-based project that empowered users to control and monitor lab appliances remotely through a React.js-based web dashboard. This project combined my interests in IoT integration and full-stack development, allowing me to work at the intersection of hardware and software — from real-time data acquisition to seamless web communication.

Central Manufacturing Facility (CMF) Management System

Developed a robust platform for managing lab training schedules and facility bookings within IIT Delhi’s Central Manufacturing Facility. Integrated React Calendar for real-time scheduling, enabling trainers and users to easily manage sessions, bookings, and machine usage.

  • Designed and implemented secure user authentication and role-based access.
  • Developed APIs using Node.js and Express.js with MongoDB and PostgreSQL backends.
  • Contributed to digitizing operational processes, significantly improving efficiency and transparency.

Lab Autonomy System

Worked on an IoT-powered dashboard that connects laboratory devices with a central web interface. The system enabled remote control and monitoring of appliances through real-time updates.

  • Implemented device communication via WebSocket and OPC UA protocols.
  • Designed an interactive React.js frontend for intuitive user experience.
  • Used InfluxDB for logging and visualizing time-series data from connected devices.
