Samarth Knowledge Network

The Samarth Knowledge Network (SKN) initiative connects FSM with leading academic institutions to build capabilities in smart manufacturing through collaborative activities.

Colleges that are part of SKN receive the following facilities and support:

  • Training for Master Trainers: FSM provides specialized training programs to faculty members from SKN institutions, who will further disseminate the knowledge within their organizations.

  • Student Training and Internship Programs: Students from SKN institutions are given opportunities for hands-on training and internships at FSM, enhancing their exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies.

  • Project Support: FSM supports SKN member colleges in developing and executing smart manufacturing-related projects.

  • Awareness Campaigns: SKN colleges participate in awareness campaigns organized by FSM to promote Industry 4.0 concepts within their academic and industrial networks.

  • Consultancy Services: FSM extends consultancy support to SKN institutions to help design, plan, and implement smart manufacturing solutions.

  • Participation in National Platforms: SKN institutions are encouraged to actively participate in national-level programs and platforms related to smart manufacturing organized by the Ministry and associated bodies.

  • Collaboration for Start-up/Incubator Activities: SKN colleges may collaborate with FSM for initiating start-up and incubator activities related to smart manufacturing.

  • Cluster-Based Capital Goods Initiatives: SKN institutions contribute to cluster-based programs aimed at enhancing capabilities in capital goods manufacturing under the Samarth Udyog mission.
