The PLC Trainer Kit serves as the core of the smart manufacturing trainer module, controlling the other two kits. This kit includes a PLC for programming, along with digital and analog inputs/outputs to connect smart sensors. An IO link module facilitates smart sensor communication, and the kit is equipped with an IoT gateway to enable data logging and connectivity for IIoT platforms. It supports multiple network protocols and is compatible with various PLC brands, such as Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Omron, Delta, Turck, and Mitsubishi.

The HMI Kit provides real-time access to monitor and control the PLC data. It features smart HMIs that support OPC UA, MQTT, and act as edge devices, providing user authentication and other advanced functionalities. Hardware buttons and LEDs connected to the PLC Trainer Kit are used to test the PLC program.

The Mechanism Kit demonstrates a fully functional manufacturing system, including an indexing table powered by a servo motor. It features four workstations, each equipped with smart sensors, RFID readers, vision systems, and solenoids for a variety of operations.

1. Station 1: Equipped with an RFID controller to read and write product tag values.

2. Station 2: Uses a distance sensor to verify product dimensions.

3. Station 3: Contains a vision camera for image processing and product testing, enabling sorting operations.

4. Station 4: Operates a solenoid for automated extension and retraction.

This kit is used to train in motion configuration, vision systems, smart sensing, machine learning, and augmented reality.
